HOW PITWALL WORKS
Turn a training plan into a clear next step.
See how Pitwall is designed to connect athlete-approved targets, completed training, planned-versus-done comparisons, and the next useful action.
Current statusPitwall is running as a controlled production closed beta. The complete goal-to-review loop and account controls are live for invited athletes. A temporary Garmin connector is active under closed-beta controls; official API approval, workout publication, and public registration remain pending.
Start with direction, not another feed
Pitwall starts with a target the athlete understands. That target can be a race, event, distance, weight goal, or training milestone. A weekly plan then gives each session a place and a purpose instead of treating every activity as an isolated result.
The athlete creates or confirms the plan. Pitwall is not designed to silently replace a coach, rewrite a schedule, or turn a watch recording into an automatic instruction.
- Set a goal and countdown that give the training block context.
- Plan sessions by sport, duration, distance, and training purpose.
- Keep rest, recovery, strength, and easy work visible beside harder sessions.
Place completed work beside the plan
Closed-beta athletes can enter completed work manually, upload an athlete-selected FIT file or Garmin export ZIP, or use the temporary athlete-authorised Garmin connector. Pitwall suggests the relevant planned session and shows the GPS route when the file contains one. The temporary connector is not the pending official Garmin API integration.
A match should remain correctable. When two sessions could fit, or an athlete completes an unplanned activity, the record should show that uncertainty instead of forcing a convenient answer.
Understand the difference, then decide
Planned-versus-completed reporting is intended to make useful differences visible in plain language. Time, distance, session purpose, and effort can help explain what changed without pretending that one percentage captures the quality of a week.
Pitwall can prepare a suggestion or explanation, but the athlete decides what happens next. Plan changes remain reviewable, and publishing an updated workout to a connected provider requires explicit approval.
TRAIN. PLAN. PERFORM.
