THE WORKING TRAINING LOOP

From a goal to the next useful conversation.
Every step is available in one private record.

  1. 01Set a goalKeep the reason for training visible.
  2. 02Build the planChoose the sport, target, timing, and purpose.
  3. 03Use TodaySee what matters now without losing the week.
  4. 04Record the workEnter it manually, upload FIT or ZIP, or import from Garmin.
  5. 05Confirm the matchKeep the completed activity beside the intended target.
  6. 06Review progressSee totals and PRs, and exclude a glitchy activity from records.
  7. 07Add body contextTrack discomfort as an observation, never a diagnosis.
  8. 08Ask BuddyBring the context together and prepare the next step.

LIVE IN THE CONTROLLED BETA

The core training loop is working.
These are the parts athletes can validate now.

PLAN

See training at the right scale

Switch between a 24-hour Day timeline, Week, continuous Month, and Year views. Per-sport totals keep each period readable on phones, tablets, and larger screens.

RECORD

Bring completed work in

Record an activity manually, upload FIT files and Garmin export ZIPs, or connect Garmin in the controlled beta. Pitwall keeps the GPS route, telemetry, sport details, and optional private activity-photo copies together.

COMPARE

Review plan beside performance

Link an actual activity to its target, correct a suggested match, replay the route, and compare duration, distance, and pace while preserving both records. Activities with bad GPS or other faulty data can stay in totals while being excluded from personal-record calculations.

EXPLAIN

Keep missed work in context

Mark a session missed with a reason and optional note. A missed session remains visible, but it does not count as linked work or make the day look completed.

CLEAR CLOSED-BETA BOUNDARIES

Working now, controlled now, and still pending.

AVAILABLE NOW

The complete athlete loop

Goals, Plan, Today, manual and file import, matching, Progress and PRs, Body Check, Buddy, export, and deletion are live for invited athletes.

CONTROLLED BETA

Invitations and Garmin sync

Access is manually invited. A temporary athlete-authorised Garmin connector supports activity and optional photo import behind operational controls.

PENDING

Public and official access

Public registration, official Garmin API approval, workout publication, and open-beta operations are not available yet.

PITWALL BUDDY · NATURAL LANGUAGE

Say what happened.
Ask what comes next.

Buddy gives you a conversational route through your private training context. Instead of opening Plan, Progress, Goals, and Body Check for every question, write what you need in ordinary language. Buddy can bring the relevant records together, keep track of useful context, and prepare a change for you to review.

ASK

Understand today and the week

“What is planned today, and how does this week compare with my plan?” Buddy can answer from your saved plan, completed activities, goals, and explicitly tracked body context.

REMEMBER

Keep stable constraints close

“Remember that I can only train before 08:00.” Useful training preferences can stay available to later conversations, and you can see or remove what Buddy remembers.

TRACK

Record context as it happens

“My left hamstring felt tight after today’s run. Keep track of it.” Buddy can turn a clear description into structured context and continue the follow-up in a later session.

PLAN

Prepare changes without silent writes

“Plan two easy runs and a longer ride for next week.” Buddy can prepare individual sessions, but the athlete reviews, accepts, edits, or rejects every proposal before the plan changes.

Buddy is being validated in the controlled beta. It can organize saved training information and prepare proposals; it does not diagnose an injury, replace qualified medical or coaching advice, or make an athlete decision silently.

REAL PRODUCT. RESPONSIVE WEB UI.

These three pre-existing observations are illustrative and are not stored in the authorised demo account. Pitwall tracks what an athlete reports; it does not diagnose an injury.

BODY CHECK

Track discomfort without pretending to diagnose it.

Mark the body surface, timing, intensity, and sensation. Pitwall keeps those observations beside training so patterns can become visible over time.

Clear boundaryPitwall records what the athlete reports. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace a qualified health professional.

The plan values come from an authorised throwaway test account. Direct identifiers, notes, and absolute route coordinates are excluded. The account currently contains no saved discomfort observations, so the three Body Check highlights are explicitly illustrative.

WEB FIRST. INSTALL OPTIONAL.

No App Store or Play Store download is required.

Pitwall is the application, delivered through the web. Open it in a modern browser on a phone, tablet, foldable, or computer. If you want an app-like launch, add the same web application to your home screen as a PWA.

NO NATIVE APP REQUIRED

Use the web app or keep it on your device

The full Pitwall interface runs in your browser. PWA installation is an optional shortcut, not a separate product or account.

Once invited, open Pitwall in your browser and choose “Install app” or “Add to Home Screen”.

  1. 01Open the secure web application

Sign in from the browser. There is no store download gate.

  2. 02Use every supported screen

The responsive interface adapts from phones to larger displays.

  3. 03Add it to your home screen if useful

The installed PWA launches the same web application standalone.

GARMIN-FIRST. NOT GARMIN-ONLY.

Your watch records.
Pitwall gives direction.

Pitwall does not replace Garmin Connect. It places activities next to targets created in Pitwall, then turns retained FIT samples into routes, telemetry charts, negative-split comparisons, and period bests. A temporary athlete-authorised connector supports the controlled beta while official Garmin Activity and Training API approval remains pending; workout publication is not enabled in production.

AI ASSISTS. THE ATHLETE DECIDES.

Useful suggestions.
Clear human control.

Pitwall may use language models to propose reasonable targets and explain where completed training differed from the plan. Targets remain proposals until the athlete accepts them. Core comparisons remain explainable, and connected training data will not be used to train a general-purpose model.
